AI Assistant

Using the AI Assistant

FoolProof has an assistant built in that knows your store. Ask it a question in plain English and it answers from your live data — and when something needs attention, it tells you first instead of waiting to be asked.

For store owners & managers · About 5 minutes

What makes it different: it isn't a chatbot bolted onto a help page. It reads your actual sales, stock, and orders through the same system that runs your store — so the answers are about your numbers, right now.

Ask it anything about your store

Open Assistant and type a question the way you'd ask a manager. It looks up the answer and shows you the figures.

Answers are grounded in real dates and real records — it works from the period you ask about, not a guess. You can keep the conversation going; it remembers the thread.

It watches for trouble on its own

The assistant doesn't just wait for questions. It monitors your store and surfaces the things that quietly cost you money:

It flagsSo you can
StockoutsReorder a fast mover before the shelf is empty and the sale walks out.
Margin slipsCatch an item whose margin has quietly dropped and fix the price or cost.
Dead stockSpot what isn't moving and stop tying up cash on the shelf.

Each alert links straight to the item or screen it's about, so acting on it is one tap — not a scavenger hunt.

It proposes; you decide

When there's an obvious next step — say, setting a reorder point on an item that keeps running out — the assistant can propose the action and show it to you as a card. Nothing happens until you confirm it. It never changes your store on its own.

You're always in control. The assistant reads freely and suggests, but every write to your store is a button you press. It's a copilot, not an autopilot.

Turning it on

The AI Assistant is a per-store feature enabled from settings. Once it's on, it appears in your sidebar and starts building its picture of the store from your live data.
