Alabama compliance

The statute, not a checkbox.

Most systems give you a switch labeled “age check.” Alabama’s delivery law runs to twenty subsections of specific numbers, and we wrote them in one at a time.

Every county — and the wet cities inside the dry ones.

Alabama isn’t wet or dry. It’s wet or dry by county, with municipalities that go their own way inside a dry one. A delivery address resolves to its county and its city before the order exists, so “I thought that address was fine” stops being something that can happen to you.

The 24-hour limit follows the customer, not the account.

Someone who has hit their daily limit at one store has hit it everywhere. Most systems count per account, which means the cap resets with a second email address. We count the person — because that is what the statute says.

9,000 mL of spirits. 9,000 mL of wine. 288 ounces of draft. The equivalent of 120 twelve-ounce beers. The order is refused before it can be written, not flagged for review afterwards.

What has to happen at the door

Recipient 21 or over, identification scanned, signature captured. Nothing left unattended, nothing to a residence hall, nothing to another licensee, every package sealed and labeled as containing alcohol.

Sale hours, in your time zone

No sales after 2 a.m. Sunday unless your municipality has opted in by ordinance. Windows are evaluated in the store’s local time, and a window that crosses midnight is handled properly rather than cutting off at the wrong hour.
